From May 20 to May 22, 2025, the 8th TCCT Workshop on Discontinuous Control was successfully held, co-hosted by EIE and several provincial automation societies. Over 150 experts and scholars from universities like Tsinghua and HIT attended.
At the opening ceremony, Vice President Cai Yingfeng welcomed the guests and introduced the university's recent developments. Li Shihua, Dean of the School of Automation at Southeast University, also delivered a speech. EIE Dean Ding Shihong moderated the opening.
The workshop featured 11 keynote reports from distinguished professors covering topics like switching issues in discontinuous control and disturbance observer-based design. The forum provided a platform for domestic scholars to exchange the latest academic ideas and boosted the academic influence of the field.
