In 2003, the enrollment of power electronics and power drives for doctoral degree started; In 2012, a disciplinary post-doctoral research station of electrical engineering was founded; In 2014, the new energy vehicles jointly declared by the discipline of electrical engineering and mechanical engineering were approved as the second phase discipline construction project in Jiangsu Province; Disciplines combine theory with application and enjoy a high reputation in the fields of domestic electrical engineering and other related fields in talent development, scientific research and social service.
