EIE Convenes Seminar on Research Integrity and Faculty Development

On June 30, 2025, EIE held a seminar in Room 309 focused on research integrity and faculty development. The meeting was chaired by Vice Dean Xu Leijun and attended by research directors and young teacher representatives.

Research Integrity: Strengthening the Academic FoundationVice Dean Xu led a study on national policies regarding research integrity. Using typical cases of academic misconduct as a warning, he emphasized that integrity is the bedrock of scholarship. He provided detailed guidance on maintaining objectivity in data recording and ensuring proper citations in papers.

Discussion: Planning for Faculty DevelopmentThe second session focused on challenges in grant applications and research. Vice Dean Xu outlined EIE’s key research tasks for 2025 and emphasized increased support for teachers. Participants discussed how college policies could improve the quality of fund applications and suggested creating more academic exchange platforms for young faculty.
