2025 "Igniting Youth, Creating the Future" Sci-Tech Innovation Culture Festival Successfully Held

On November 15th, the EIE "Igniting Youth, Creating the Future" Sci-Tech Innovation Culture Festival was held at the square in front of the college building. The event was organized by EIE and the "Igniting Youth" Navigation Studio, co-organized by Hongjiang, Qiushi, and Mengxi Colleges, and supported by four companies including CR Micro.

Guests included EIE Party Secretary Zhu Yan, Dean Ding Shihong, Deputy Director of the University Student Affairs Office Zhang Fen, Party Secretary of Hongjiang College Huang Yongqiang, Party Secretary of Qiushi College Sun Houjun, Deputy Secretary of the Youth League Committee Dai Yujian, EIE Vice Dean Xu Leijun, General Manager of Zhenjiang Mobile Jingkou Branch Yan Junfei, and General Manager of Zhenjiang New Oriental Foreign Study Consulting Co., Ltd. Feng Yi. The opening ceremony was moderated by Ye Tao, Deputy Party Secretary of the EIE. The festival aimed to deepen innovation-driven education and build a collaborative platform for the university, local government, and enterprises, attracting nearly a thousand participants including teachers, students, corporate representatives, and parents.

At the opening ceremony, cheerleading and song performances ignited the atmosphere. Dean Ding Shihong delivered the opening speech, detailing the college’s "Basic Cultivation - Competition Selection - Key Incubation" innovation training system. He introduced the impressive results for 2025, where the college secured 49 national Category-A awards or higher, including 3 A+ awards. Subsequently, Zhu Yan and Ding Shihong presented awards to students who won national A+ competition prizes, such as Huang Yuxiang, the national first-prize winner of the "Challenge Cup"揭榜挂帅 (Reveal the Rankings and Take Charge) project. Zhang Fen and Dai Yujian presented awards to "Innovative Stars" of the "Ten Outstanding Youth" like Zhu Jingwen. Representatives including student Ji Xingyu, teacher Chen Kunhua, mentor Ji Jinghua, and entrepreneur Yan Junfei shared their innovation experiences and collaborative visions.

EIE is actively building a stepped innovation training chain, winning over a hundred college student innovation projects and national Category-A awards annually. It has deepened collaborative education with many companies, and alumni enterprises have established innovation funds. By hosting this festival, the college has further built an exchange platform for teachers and students, fostering an atmosphere of innovation.
