On October 8, the School of Electrical Engineering invited Huang Hongsheng, a professor of Jiangsu Province and an off-campus expert of the provincial industry-education integration brand, and the deputy general manager of Jiangsu Zhen'an Electric Power Equipment Co., Ltd., to the class of "New Electrical Engineering Technology Lecture" of the School of Electrical Engineering to teach teachers and students the course content of "Port Intelligent Shore Power Connection Technology".
In the classroom, more than 50 students of the 2021 class of Electrical Engineering and Automation (Excellence) attended the class and listened carefully to the expert's story. Huang Hongsheng, a senior engineer, introduced specific cases and taught the students the main components of port shore power and the working principles of each component, as well as the intelligent development trend of port shore power technology, so that everyone has a deeper understanding of the application of power electronics, analog electronic technology and power system related knowledge they have learned. After class, the students exchanged views with Huang Hongsheng on issues such as the application and practice of professional knowledge. Faced with the students' professional problems and employment confusion, Huang Hongsheng patiently answered them one by one, and the students gained a lot from this "Enterprise Experts Entering the Classroom" activity. Huang Yonghong, director of the Department of Electrical Engineering, also expressed his gratitude for the arrival of the experts, and hoped that the students would seize the rare opportunity to communicate and learn more with enterprise experts to lay a solid foundation for future employment.
Inviting enterprise experts into the classroom and teaching students at close range is an attempt to introduce professional practical applications into the classroom, and it is also an in-depth implementation of the concept of school-enterprise integration education. This "Enterprise Experts Entering the Classroom Activity" of the Department of Electrical Engineering has a deeper understanding of the specific practical application of the professional knowledge learned by students, and it also has a very important guidance for students' career development planning.
