At noon on March 15, the School of Electrical and Information Engineering of Jiangsu University carefully organized a warm and meaningful lunch meeting for teachers and students. Zhu Yan, secretary of the Party Committee of the School, Ding Shihong, dean, Zhang Fen, deputy director of the School Student Affairs Office, and 12 2023 students from majors such as automation, robotics engineering, biomedical engineering, and electrical China-Australia credit recognition project attended the lunch meeting. The lunch meeting was hosted by Ye Tao, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and vice dean of the school.
At the lunch meeting, the atmosphere was relaxed and harmonious. Teachers and students sat together, tasting delicious food while talking about study, life and future dreams. Based on his own experience, Ding Shihong made four suggestions to the students, encouraging everyone to actively participate in physical exercise and develop a positive and sunny attitude; study hard and master solid professional knowledge; participate in extracurricular activities in a classified manner to improve comprehensive ability and quality; make personal future plans and strive to realize personal dreams.
The students said that Dean Ding's guidance and suggestions aroused enthusiastic responses from the students present, and the guidance and exchanges of the teachers further pointed out the direction of their efforts. They expressed their sincere gratitude to the leaders and teachers of the college for their care and guidance.
This teacher-student dinner not only provided a platform for face-to-face communication for the teachers and students of the college, but also injected new impetus for everyone's common growth.
