Teachers and students of Jiangyin Shanguan Senior High School went to the School of Electrical Engineering of Jiangsu University for autumn research activities

In order to make good connections between high school and university education, reflect the characteristics and professional advantages of our school, and help high school students understand the education system of colleges and universities and better plan their future studies and career development, on November 9, nearly 2,000 teachers and students of Jiangyin Shanguan Senior High School went to Jiangsu University for research activities. Under the guidance of the undergraduate admissions office of the school, Ye Tao, deputy secretary and vice dean of the School of Electrical Engineering, counselors Guo Yuchen and Wang Yuanyuan and volunteer students warmly received them.

Under the guidance of teachers and college student volunteers, teachers and students of Shanguan High School visited the laboratories, libraries, Sanshan Building and other learning areas of the School of Electrical Engineering in an orderly manner, felt the strong academic atmosphere on the university campus, and also appreciated the campus scenery such as the plum garden, cherry garden, and Qinren Valley, and experienced a comfortable and vibrant campus life. After the walking tour, Deputy Secretary Ye Tao held a report exchange meeting with the theme of "Meeting Jiangda and Seeing Jiangda with Joy" in the auditorium, and expressed a warm welcome to the visiting teachers and students. He introduced the school characteristics and diversity of campus culture of Jiangsu University from the aspects of its school strength, faculty scale, professional disciplines, campus facilities, and student activities. He also emphasized the importance of academic planning for future life, gave students suggestions and strategies for academic planning, and encouraged them to make full use of limited time and unleash their infinite potential.

During this study tour, the teachers and students of Shanguan High School learned about the campus environment, humanistic qualities, academic atmosphere, and scientific research advantages of our school, and personally felt the vigor of Jiangsu University students. They also realized the school motto of Jiangsu University, "Broad Learning, Seeking Truth, and Enlightenment", which empowered the young people's ideal feelings for their country and helped with their future volunteer choices and career planning.
