The 2024 Annual Meeting and Academic Exchange Meeting of the Servo and Motion Control Committee of Jiangsu Automation Society was successfully held in our school

On November 30, the 2024 Annual Meeting and Academic Exchange Meeting of the Servo and Motion Control Committee of Jiangsu Automation Society (hereinafter referred to as the "Committee") was held in the 415 Academic Lecture Hall of the School of Electrical Engineering of Jiangsu University. The meeting was hosted by the Servo and Motion Control Committee of Jiangsu Automation Society and hosted by the School of Electrical Engineering of Jiangsu University. Professor Cai Yingfeng, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of our school, attended the opening ceremony. Professor Li Shihua, Chairman of the Jiangsu Automation Society and Vice Dean of the School of Automation of Southeast University, Professor Huang Wenxin, Director of the Committee and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Professor Liu Guohai of Jiangsu University, Professor Zhou Bo of Southeast University, Deputy Director of the Committee, Dr. Zhang Yu, CTO of Nanjing Estun Automation Co., Ltd., and Professor Ding Shihong, Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering, attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Professor Xu Leijun, Vice Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering.

On behalf of the school, Cai Yingfeng sincerely welcomed the experts attending the meeting and expressed gratitude for the support of the committee. She briefly introduced the school's career development in recent years, especially the faculty, discipline construction and scientific research development. She hoped that the School of Electrical Engineering could take this meeting as an opportunity to seriously study the latest research results in the field of servo and motion control, learn from the insights of experts and scholars, seize opportunities, take the initiative, and quickly promote the development of the school's control science and engineering, electrical engineering and other disciplines.

Li Shihua congratulated the convening of the meeting. He introduced the development of the Jiangsu Automation Society and said that the society will strengthen its ties with the special committee, carefully build an academic exchange platform, comprehensively promote the development of disciplines, give full play to its role in professional guidance, scientific research, and academic exchanges, and contribute to the scientific, economic and social development of Jiangsu Province.

In his speech, Huang Wenxin expressed his sincere gratitude for the careful preparation and organization of our school. He introduced the purpose and significance of the special committee, emphasized the important role of servo and motion control in the development of science and technology, and welcomed colleagues and young scholars to actively join the field of servo and motion control.

Ding Shihong introduced the development of the School of Electrical Engineering in recent years, focusing on the faculty, discipline and professional construction, talent training and scientific research of the college. In particular, he interpreted and promoted the talent policies of the school and the college, hoping that experts would recommend more outstanding talents to join the School of Electrical Engineering of Jiangsu University.

Professor Li Shihua of Southeast University, Associate Professor Zhou Xingwei of Hohai University, Professor Zeng Zhiyong of Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Professor Zuo Yuefei of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and Professor Chen Qian of Jiangsu University focused on the technical directions of motors, speed control, and robot motion control in the field of servo and motion control, and successively delivered five academic reports on the topics of "Research Progress on Safe Anti-interference Control of Time-delay Electromechanical Systems", "Research on Multi-mode Wide-area High-performance Control Technology of Electromagnetic Double-Pole Motors", "Research on High-quality Operation of Low-speed and High-torque Direct Drive Systems", "New Means to Improve the Control Quality of Low-speed Direct Drive Permanent Magnet Servo Systems-Generalized Self-anti-interference Control", and "Design Theory and Methods of Low-torque Pulsating Permanent Magnet Motors for Robots".

The meeting was held simultaneously online and offline. More than 100 experts and scholars from Southeast University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Nanjing Normal University, Hohai University, China University of Mining and Technology, Jiangsu University, Suzhou University of Science and Technology, Nanjing Estun Automation Co., Ltd. and other universities and enterprises and institutions attended the meeting.
