Provincial industrial professors came to campus to teach "Automation and Intelligent Development of Digital Measurement"

On the afternoon of October 25, 2023, our school specially invited Xiao Hui, professor of industry in Jiangsu Province, leader of the city’s “169” academic technology, deputy director of the Zhenjiang Metrology Verification and Testing Center, and chairman of the technical committee, to be a postgraduate student in Lecture Hall 415 of the Electrical Building A lecture on "Automation and Intelligent Development of Digital Measurement" was held.

Professor Xiao Hui mainly gave a report from four aspects: "History and Culture of Metrology", "Current Situation of Metrology", "Development of Digital Metrology", and "Construction of Digital Metrology Laboratory of Zhenjiang Metrology Center". The entire report is rich in content and far-reaching.

Finally, he pointed out that our country's digital metrology has now fully entered the stage of automation and intelligent development, and is in a critical period to overcome some of its dependence on imports of key technologies. He called on our young students to seize the opportunity, strive to climb the peak of science, and realize technology to serve the country.

Through this event of provincial industrial professors coming to campus, graduate students in our college have broadened their horizons and gained knowledge, which has further laid the foundation for our college’s subsequent work on deepening school-enterprise linkage and implementing joint student training.
