EIE held a lecture on students' innovation and entrepreneurship competition

On November 20, the EIE held a lecture on "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for Students" in Classroom 2102, Jingjiang Building. Qin Yun, the teacher in charge of the 416 laboratory, was invited to give a lecture, and students from 2022 took part in the lecture. In the lecture, Qin Yun systematically introduced the different levels of competitions and their specific forms. In the "Internet plus" Undergraduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, starting from the background of the current era of innovation and entrepreneurship, it pointed out that the concept of higher education education is undergoing a profound change. "Dare to break new ground and be creative" is the core element of cultivating outstanding talents in the new era. It focused on how colleges and universities should change from the concept of "employment education" to "innovation and entrepreneurship education", It is pointed out that students should do innovation and entrepreneurship based on disciplines and majors, that is, "integration of expertise and innovation". Next, we will explain the relevant issues of the electronic design competition, which is divided into Jiangsu University Students' Electronic Design Competition, the National University Students' Electronic Design Competition and the National University Students' Subject Invitation Competition. Qin Yun specifically introduced the organization, basic process and specific requirements of the competition, and explained the competition topics in the past few years, such as the 2019 Electronic Design Competition for College Students, which stimulated the enthusiasm of the students present. Finally, Mr. Qin Yun proposed that contemporary college students should cultivate the ability to be bold and innovative. Among them, innovative experiments, discipline competitions and major innovation projects are the "kindling" to stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship. Taking the excellent students of the college in mass entrepreneurship and innovation as an example, he asked all the students of the college to participate in innovation and entrepreneurship education.
