The School of Electrical and Information Engineering launches the 2021 summer overseas study achievement exchange report

On the morning of October 31, the 2021 summer overseas study achievement exchange report meeting was held in Room 415. Ye Tao, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the Academy, Yang Zongkang and Huang Xiancheng from the Academic Guidance and Development Center of the Office of Academic Affairs, and college counselors were invited to attend and serve as judges. The report meeting was hosted by Wang Yuanyuan, a counselor from EIE.

At the beginning of the meeting, Wang Yuanyuan first extended a warm welcome to the arrival of the two teachers from the Academic and Work Office. Reported to the participants on the participation of students studying abroad in the summer vacation in 2021, and carried out the mobilization work for the winter vacation project. Encourage students present to actively understand and participate actively. Later, Ye Tao briefly introduced the overseas study subsidy policies of university and colleges, and analyzed the benefits of studying abroad. It is hoped that students will improve their English ability, professional ability, teamwork and logical thinking ability by participating in overseas study. Strengthen interactive communication to further broaden students’ horizons and seize opportunities.

At the meeting, 25 students reported their gains and insights from studying abroad during the summer vacation. They not only have knowledge to share, but also feedback and suggestions. It shows the students' personal style of earnest study, correct attitude and good summary. In the end, Yang Zongkang said that the report of the students was very exciting and he gave meticulous and unique learning guidance. He pointed out that the school attaches great importance to academic guidance and funding work, is highly forward-looking and practical, and pays attention to and dynamically adjusts relevant policies for overseas study in real time. Carrying out such learning exchanges can promote students to think about the importance of learning planning, and also enable students to master international and avant-garde knowledge, which is beneficial to all aspects of personal development in the future.

The launch of this summer overseas study results exchange report not only allowed the students to summarize and exchange their study results and experiences. At the same time, university and colleges can also get students' learning feedback and suggestions, so as to know students' questions in time and help solve them.
