EIE held a symposium for democratic parties and non-party personalities

On November 24, a symposium for democratic parties and non-party persons of EIE in the second half of 2021 was held in Electrical Building 313. Ding Shihong, member of the United Front Work of the Party Committee ofThe School of Electrical and Information Engineering, Dean of the Institute of High-efficiency Motor Systems and Intelligent Control, Xu Leijun, Deputy Dean ofThe School of Electrical and Information Engineering, and Xiao Yichen, Deputy Director of the Party Affairs Office. As well as more than a dozen democratic parties and non-party teacher representatives attended this symposium. The meeting was presided over by Ding Shihong.

At the meeting, everyone concentrated on learning the spirit of the 6th Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, and the participants spoke and exchanged their learning and experience. Subsequently, the teachers took turns to give speeches and put forward their opinions and suggestions on the training of young teachers of the college, undergraduate teaching links, new professional plan formulation, postgraduate guidance, and improvement of electrical building facilities. The leaders at the meeting responded and recorded relevant suggestions. Finally, Ding Shihong said that the democratic parties and non-party people are an important force in the development of the college. Everyone speaks freely and offers suggestions and suggestions to give full play to their functions. He hopes that everyone can further utilize the organizational advantages of the united front, gather people's hearts, gather strength, and actively participate in various undertakings of the college and university.

This symposium further promoted the work of the united front, and gave better play to the active role of democratic parties and non-party personalities in participating in the reform and development of the college and providing advice and suggestions.
