The 2019 China Intelligent Automation Academic Conference, sponsored by the Intelligent Automation Professional Committee of the China Association of Automation and hosted by Jiangsu University, was held in Zhenjiang from September 20th to 22nd. More than 150 experts and scholars from 62 universities and 12 research institutes across the country attended the meeting.
Professor Yan Xiaohong, the President of Jiangsu University, and Professor Deng Zhidong of Tsinghua University attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Liu Guohai, the Dean of the School of EIE of Jiangsu University, presided over the opening ceremony.
After the opening ceremony, during the two-day conference report period, Academician Wu Hongxin, Professor Wang Tianmiao, Professor Deng Zhidong, and General Manager of Tencent's Automated Driving Department Su Kuifeng make special reports titled “Research on Intelligent Autonomous Control Systems”, “The Age of Robotics and Venture Incubation Investment”, “From Autonomous Driving to Smart Cities”, and “Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Driving in a 5G Environment”, respectively. The conference proposed that the information age has entered a new era of intelligence. Intelligent autonomous systems and applications have become an important direction for China's future development.
After the report, the participating experts and scholars conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on hot research topics in intelligent automation, such as intelligent autonomous control, robotics, and unmanned driving.
The successful holding of this conference will play an important role in promoting the development of cutting-edge technologies and industries in the fields of intelligent automation, artificial intelligence and intelligent manufacturing. Moreover, it promoted our university's cooperation and exchanges with famous universities and research institutes at home and abroad. At the same time, it also improved the social influence of our school.
