Dean Liu Guohai first warmly welcomed the leaders of the Science and Technology Department and reported on the current work of the Institute. Subsequently, Deputy Director Lu Jinzhong of the Science and Technology Department gave a major introduction to the relevant declaration and approval of the National Natural Science Foundation. He pointed out that the school is facing a new situation, the research indicators need to be further improved, and the current national policy is conducive to the development of the project. Each college should actively carry out relevant project declarations. He detailed analysis and report on the funding of the longitudinal project of the School of Electrical Engineering. First, he affirmed the higher funding rate and approval rate of the School of Electrical Engineering. He conducted a statistical analysis of the NSFC application status of the School of Electrical Engineering and pointed out that the overall funding rate is very high, but There is still a large upside. At the meeting, Director Lu also introduced the start-up work of the NSFC in 2019, and requested and recommended the hospital. Li Jun, deputy director of the Military Affairs Office of the Science and Technology Department, suggested that the School of Electrical Engineering should increase the number of military scientific research personnel and emphasize that military projects can be used as a growth point and a strong complement. Deputy Director Li Dan of the Science and Technology Department delivered a speech, emphasizing the importance of raising awareness of intellectual property rights and the need to cultivate intellectual property talents. The meeting also discussed the horizontal research situation of the School of Electrical Engineering this year, and proposed measures and methods to improve horizontal services, with the overall idea of “doing large increments and making bright features” to comprehensively improve the reporting level of scientific research projects.

At the end of the meeting, Director Li Hong of the Science and Technology Department expressed his expectation for the improvement of scientific research indicators of the Electric College, and wished the scientific research work of the School of Electrical Engineering to achieve a bumper harvest.
